He looked like a man on a mission, to prove many things to many people. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! And didn't he look well pleased with himself.

Very well done!

Can't wait to see him on dry tyres against the same field.

OJ... what a fucken legend!! If Gibbers hadn't held him up for so long, who knows what result we could have seen. Although I suspect Rossi would have just lifted to another level and left him behind.

2nd place for Kawasaki and Honda a lowly 3rd. I think I had a tear in my eye.

i caught the last 10 minutes on the idiot box just then. Was a good clean match. I *knew* that there'd be a thread on here already about it, was good to see Kawa getting some positive returns at last.

Although it makes me wonder a bit how much of it was Jacque being on the ball, how much it being Kawa getting somewhere at last & how much others being a pack of pansies and being afraid to get their skirts wet in the rain. Ah who cares, we'll see what happens in the next race as a follow up!

B.t.w. I wonder what exactly went wrong with whiney Sete's tyre anyway..

How fucking ballsy was that?!?!

From 14th on the grid, to go storming through the pack. I mean, I was on the edge of my seat when he was in forth, I couldn't beleive it when he thundered up behind biaggi. And after that, to tear past gibbers and tear off after Rossi.

What a fucking mad man, to push right up to the end, charging after Rossi!

Now thats the kind of rider Kawasaki needs. Piss that useless bastard Hoffman off, he hasn't done shit to deserve his seat, and give someone whos really willing to get the results (OJ) the seat. Nakkers and OJ, what a team.

Kawasaki really has got a good package now. Competitive bikes, #1 bridgestone team (and bridgestone is right on the ball with tyres now), and good riders. They really ought to do all they can to keep OJ around. To come back after 2 years without a ride, and to make such a mockery of the rest of the field, he deserves that seat.

Rather unusual, I dont think i have seen that much of a kwaka in the whole of last seasons racing I even got a chance to read all the stickers on it and see it has factory oggie knobs.

Goooo kwaka and if he can repeat the effort i will be equally supised but he gave it a hell of a go in the wet.

I have been trying to get the times for the 250s race result to see if they went around faster than the motogp bikes but no luck. :D

Its a shame jaque will only get a few races or maybe hoffman will fall over out the back of the pits or something and break a ankle as well.

I think the times were similar to the 250s.

I reckon that rain is a good way to even out bike/tyre performance, bring it back to rider vs rider. So I suspect a dry track will see Kawa struggle again. But I really, really hope not. I want to believe the bike is competitive. Watching Sete (eary in the race) out sprint the Kawa in a straight line was heart breaking.

2 weeks and we are in France in front of OJs home crowd 8)

What a race... watched it from start to finish..

I thought any chances of a top 10 result were out the door when I saw Nakkers in the pits.. Then OJ started to make a charge...

5th place... top effort... then he stepped upto 4th.. and I thought FARK wohoo!!! By this point i was literally glued to my seat... Then OJ gets stuck behind Gibbersook... But he managed to pass the hoon.. hon... hnd.. Team Moviestar bike, and cut 4+ seconds off Rossi's lead...

Lets all bow down and pray to the Bike Gods, that OJ is able to back up this weeks results with a top 8 finish, and prove that Kawasaki are capable of bigger and better things, and Hoffman truly is a Slowman...

:D that was a ripper of a ride for guy who hadn't been on a bike for 7 months, good onya OJ.
I think that the ZX-RR is a competitive bike, its the riders that need to push it to the front of the pack
