Been a number of drama's at this years NW200, the most serious of which was Stuart Easton's crash in Qualifying on the MSS Kawasaki

http://crash.net/road+racing/news/16935 ... irmed.html

It has been confirmed that Stuart Easton has suffered injuries to his femur, pelvis and hand following his horrific accident during qualifying for the North West 200.

The Scot was involved in a collision with MSS Colchester Kawasaki team-mate Gary Mason during the Superstock session, a high-speed smash that has caused multiple injuries.

Transferred to Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, Easton was diagnosed having damaged his his femur, pelvis and hands, while he is also suspected to have injured his bowel.

A statement from the MSS Colchester Kawasaki team, who whom he has won three British Superbike Championship podiums during the opening three rounds, confirmed the extent of the injuries.

“We're so desperately upset for Stuart, he is one of the nicest, unassuming guys in the paddock, regardless of talent and he has that in abundance. He's been in fantastic form and this is obviously a massive blow to him and all his friends in the team and beyond. We wish him the very best recovery and will try and keep his supporters updated as regularly as possible.”

Mason was unhurt in the accident.

The team will update sponsors, friends and media with any further news.
