just had some inside info that westy HAS signed to ride the zx-rr for the rest of the season, starting this weekend at Donnington.
Kawasaki will be issueing a press release on Thursday but you heard it here first

But he was having such a good year (Month) in Super Sports. The way he was heading he would have had second in the championship wrapped up.
Great News I hope he can get used to the bike and be competitive early. I wouldn't mind a couple of wet races either just to give him some confidence.
Now who will replce him in the super sports??
I can't see Pitty riding a Yamaha for a while.

Awesome news.
I guess it is prob the best move..
If Curtain comes back he's left rideless, atleast this way he is secured a ride for the rear. And if he can prove himself, he may just get re-signed and have a GP ride in 2008...
good luck Westy.. And please don't openly winge about what you've got.. You've got a shot at the big time now... Just grind your teeth make the most of it, and let it take you where it may.
I'm guessing it's going to be a few weeks before West gets used to the kwaka, but hopefully he can do abit better than the Fonz did.

now how am i going to put bets on what lap the kawasakis will crash.....
good shit though - i really hope he goes well - he has been fantastic in WSS so hopefully that will carry through to the GP. cant wait till sunday.
