Jacque Attack

Kawasaki Racing, Development & Testing

We only just watched the race, taped it last night. Wish I hadn't known the result already! Still it was an awesome feeling at the end.

It was interesting with hindsight hearing Beattie patronise OJ before the race, saying his ride would be a good development opportunity etc.

Regardless of the result, one of the best things about it was seeing so much of a Kawasaki. Normally you see the odd flash of green a few corners back in the coverage. Great to see.

Its also put some real interest into MotoGP itself, with the good performances not restricted to two riders.

So who's praying for rain at PI?

does this come around full circle?

With kawasaki being more promenant in racing they sell more bikes, make more money and put more into racing and development.

It wasa top effort for OJ...

I'm hoping his desire to prove himself will give him the extra speed to keep up with the front runners at his home circuit if it's a dry track...

In the Hysteria of the Jacque Attack, good 'ol Casey Stoner's 2nd Win in a row was a tad over shadowed.

I was one of the fortunate few who got to see the race live. My voice, as Phil can testify, was pretty hoarse by the end from my cheering. An excellent performance from Jacque, Kawasaki and Bridgestone.

The bike is still down on top end speed - I think that is what makes it difficult for Nakano to get on the podium.

Next race is Le Man. The good thing with that circuit is that the weather has been wet the last four seasons.... Hopefully the same this time around.

Wouldn't it be great if next season, Nakano and Jacque are battling for the championship like they did in 2000. :D
