career even? Fwiw I think your time at moto gp is far more limited than the time you would have as a cager racer of any description, by that I eman you could "probably" drive F1 cars even in to your late 30's but I reckon 35 is about the max age you will see a moto gp rder be remotely competitive IMO. So having said that, yeah he may be looking at a rally career but that might be well down the track yet...
Given the results of last year and so far this year, does everyone think Rossi still has the hunger neded to win another championship? I kinda wonder to be honest...

don't ya love spell check. I did see him trial with the STI and he did well, however like you said i think he will be in GP for a few more years to come. Don't know if he will be on top but he will be there

How old was Troy Bayliss when he won flag to flag on the Ducati MotoGP bike at Valencia in 2006? 36 or so, and I'd say still rat least emotely competitive. The old vampire himself, Alex Barros, was still doing ok in his late thirties too. So no more excuses Mick, we expect to see you at the pointy end of the field, even at your age

I don't see Kawasaki being able to snare Rossi's services. I'm pretty sure I've read Valentino state that he wanted to finish his career with Yam and now the M1 is the best bike in the paddock, why would he leave? Dovizioso is another that has been mentioned if Kwak can't get Rossi but I think they've missed the boat on Andrea who I think will take Nicky Hayden's ride at Repsol Honda. So the most likely scenario I see as this stage for team green next would be Hopkins being teamed up with Alvaro Bautista (Michael Bartholemy admitted he wanted him for this year but the Kawasaki hierarchy didn't agree) and I reckon Nicky Hayden on the expected third bike.
In the mean time, here's hoping Hopper can help turn the ZX-RR into a regular podium challenger and Westy can pull his finger out and give John the hurry-up.
