Thanks for the huge support everyone!

Ponti, as banana supplier I just hope you have me covered for the next round! I hear there may be a shortage, but surely I am safe in your hands...?

Gozzo, I do believe that is the same Mr Heyes, he has been racing forever and is still very very fast. Very professional racer.

Phil, because of our current limited track situation up here, there are only 3 points rounds in the Chapmionship, so two left to go. There is also the one-round State Championship, but it does not affect the points in this competition.

MadKaw, it makes me want to bloody cry! All I want to race is Kawasaki, and when I can work out how to do it I will be racing one again. Problem is Ten's aren't cheap, and Yamaha's are. Quality costs I guess. When talking to other riders about racing or even what bikes are good or whatever I ALWAYS tell them Kawasaki's are the best, and recommend them above all else. Then they find out I race a Yammie and I start mumbling about a low budget and whatever other excuses I can muster before telling them how good Kawasakis are all over again.....

Believe me I WILL be racing a Kawasaki again, hopefully a 10R superbike, it is just a matter of time. The only thing is I might paint it Orange and White again.  Although Green and White could work.......

As far as this championship is concerned, I do not hold huge expectations of even coming close to winning it. All it will take is for the guys faster than me to actually finish every race and my lead will be gone. However as long as I can finish every race myself I am hoping to finish in the top half of things.

Unfortunately unless I can find more things to sell in the meantime it looks as though I might have to race the next meeting on second hand tyres, which WILL hurt my speed. Most people always run new rubber (sometimes 2 or more sets per meeting!) on superbikes for a reason. It is hard to push hard all day without them. But as always I am just aiming to finish as best I can, but above all finish.

Anyway you have no idea how much I am looking forward to the next meeting, my starts are still slow but better now, and I should get to the track for some practice this sunday. One practice day between meetings isn't much but it all helps.

I owe the fact that I am racing to this club and it's members more than anything else, and it will never be forgotten. :) :) :)

Actually Phil / Glenn, I did just that last weekend! I am such a chicken shit about the front lifting that I resorted to starting in second, which with my gearing etc. isn't too much slower. It isn't going to get me infront, but atleast I will be more consistent on the starts and not loose too many places.

I ran an 11.0 at 130 something MPH, starting in second with a minor gear change miss, so it ain't to bad I guess. Still just over 2 sec 60 foot though.

Need to go again though.
