1995 ZX9R. Love these bikes.

G'day,
I've always been partial to the 'B' model 9's and was able to bring this one home recently. I stupidly sold a tidy ZXR750L 10 years ago to buy a house and be responsible, and it always bugged me. Loved that bike.

This one has a similar character to the ZXR with it's bulky size, analougue clocks and throaty exhaust note, but is much softer to ride. It feels more limousine than sports car to me.

It's done 45,000 ks, is in good shape cosmetically and i'm looking forward to making some improvements over time like suspension, de-restricing the carbs and fitting an advancer.

looks very tidy.

I am thinking of selling off the 07 zx10 and jumping on a zx9. As I get older the 10 is starting to feel a little stiff and cramped and think the 9 will do the trick nicely.

If billikins was billys old nine after some enjoyable years on that bike it was traded for a z900RS ,that was my 3rd ZX9 and I loved them all.Time moves on
but I still have 3 Kwakas in the garage .Unlike my wife who went from Yamaha to Kawasaki to Hoooonda To BMW and this week went back to Hoooonda. 8)
Yes its true Kazz has a cruiser

I have named it bobbykins ,yep its a bobber I believe is the correct term and it sounds like a sewing machine with the stock pipe so
Bobby for the bike and kins for the sewing machine part as related to bobbins.
Kazz not happy about the new name, her orange f800R BMW was named the speedy mandarin.
I will pick it up for her tomorrow as she doesn't test ride bikes and also doesn't do the initial pick ups.
Lucky I just got a new REALLY DARK VISOR. 8)

Not to sure if I am in trouble Chicken strips on rear wont get any smaller as pegs seem to be an issue,Kazz looked a little bemused as I informed her of a fault that the pegs drag on the road. 8)
No hope of getting rid of all the strips on the front as it has a big ass tyre on there ,unless  the whole bike is on its side and I don't think that would be appreciated.

Not good. 2 weeks hospital, and then time on crutches.....
Good wishes to her.

I hope the other party's insurance covers everything.
