Be different by leaving it as is!! The number of youngsters putting all sorts of eBay crap on their shit is saddening! You'll really stand out!

cracking little bike. Looks great just the way it is. I would not be doing too much too it as most new riders are only on the small bikes for a couple of years. Keep it stock and you will save a few bucks now and maybe score some more when it comes time to trade up to a bigger bike

Geez they are a good looking thing! You'll have a ball, take that $300 bucks you want to spend on the bike and spend it on tyres fuel and lunches on ride more ride days :)

Yer fair point!

Will be needing a new rear tyre soon, anyone know what the widest tyre that can be fit to the standard rear rim is?

There you go again!

Wouldn't it look cool to put a phat back tire on - that will make everybody think I'm riding an H2 and make me look cool?!

Truth of the matter is that you will look like a twat, and more importantly, it will make your bike handle like shit.

Spend all your effort on being a better RIDER!

I don't mean to sound critical - I've been there, done that wasted that money, looked like a twat falling off while looking cool. Learn from an old fart!

i believe the ninja 300 can take a 150 rear, its all you want really, and you can get some nice sticky compounds in that width 8)

Ditto, don't mess with tyre width, better to put tyres on that have a better profile as well as better compound so the bike tips in easier and has more neutral steering allowing you to change lines mid corner if you have to without upsetting the bike while also giving you better grip.

So to sum up..........

Leave the bike as it is....
Replace like for like as it wears...
And spend your spare $$ on quality riding gear and rider training that lasts a lifetime.. this bike will only be yours till you get your full licence...

Fender eliminator= harassment and fines from police, yes they are ugly but do u see it when riding?
