Finally - I got a new ride!

Postby Benno » Mon Jan 30, 2012 7:17 am

Now I know what you're all thinking : He's gotten another Kwaka! Well, no.

That is definitely on the cards, just need to do some jigging of stuff and find time to head out to a certain bike shop - but anyways, lets not stray from the reason for this thread.

I now present to you:

Image

49cc's of POWA. I must admit, the smell of 2 stroke really hasn't left me as I do have a rotary in the shed as well :P

I will say, its awesome fun. If I decide that I can hit up the WSBK's, I may throw this thing in the boot to hoon around the track on.

Flame away! :kuda:

Nice!

Just don't ride after you've been drinking......I recall a discussion on here about people riding a motorised esky and getting charged with DUI.

Looks like great fun!

Those tyres you see in the pic are exactly the same! It goes alright on grass, so will do the PI outside track no problems!

It has 2 speeds, so like a low/high gear. Does move along at a fairly good rate of knots!

Went for a quick scoot to visit my mum the other day - she lives around a 15 minute walk. The little sucker can get around 30km's to a tank of fuel!

It definitely moves along at a quick pace! Did get some funny looks from the local Police who were on the station near mum's place. Thankfully they didn't bother chasing! (clearly I was going way too fast to be caught!)

Must say, it really is good fun. If only I could figure out a mower attachment or something, I'd be set hooning around cutting lawns!

Hey Benno,

POWA is cool :kuda:

but raises a few questions like:

When you come across other powa riders, do you nod to each other?
How do you deal with the dirty looks you get from a moped rider?
What's the general attitude of the blind person with a guide dog?
Is it about the same as the Pakistani cab driver?
