I had to ride to bathurst and back yesterday for work so thought id take the long way there...

So up early and out the M2/M7 to richmond then up bells line of road. The run up to lithgow was pretty quick, with minimal traffic at that time of morning. Passed Bilpin tho the wind picked up and the cloud cover became more pevelant. I soon realised i could have done with packing my neck warmer

Quick stop off in Lithgow for a hot chocolate, mainly to thaw my hand out, and then back on the road to bathurst... via WATTIELAND 8) The wind was still strong and made for an interesting time on the challenging but quick roads out in WATTIELAND

Then as the site i was working on was on conrod straight at mount panorama i did a lap on the bike, only the second time ive been around the track, it would be a hoot to do on the bike but you would need very big balls to go seriously fast :o

I took the slab way home, but realised that the fun way wasnt neccesarily any slower, oh well, lesson learnt, plus i was knackered by the end of the day so the GWH wasnt too bad.... one i got passed lawson, the cloud disappeared and it warmed up a couple of degrees, which was a nice change...

It was also the first serious road hitout for the new pirelli dragon supercorsas and i have to say i didnt notice them which on the road i guess is good...

Along with the new tyres i have a new ixon jacket and new ixon full textilepants in use for their first hit out as well and i have to say im very impressed with the comfort and functionality of the two items, i will do a write up on them after the gingers creek run :D

cheers guys n girls

yeah i would wanna do that commute every day... 6 hours of riding for 3.5 hours of farting around onsite.

There is this hotel: http://www.mirvachotels.com/citigate-mo ... a-bathurst on the mountain its to the east of the track at the chase, and the bar/restaurant that myself and my boss designed, along with the lobby, is due to be completed for opening on the 15th spet. We were there to check defects, joinery, furniture (not all there yet) and also install the artificial plants.

wattieland is as experience :P
