The Dirty Runt

I had no problems coming with a name for the KLR, it just came to me after being told numerous times that it wouldn't be powerful enough for me etc etc.....Dirty cos it's a dirty bike and Runt cos it's the smallest, weakest bike in the pack but is pretty tenacious so far.
I got rego sorted on it this week while I've been off work, which included sorting out a brake switch and new lever, bleeding the brakes, fitting a new front tyre, getting a set of cheap indicators from Hong Kong, fitting a cheapo trailer numberplate light from supercheap auto, wacking on the old mirrors from the Surfer and new sprockets and chain with better ratios that what was on there.
Now it's got the plate I could finally take it out for a spin up in the Brindabella's, although to be honest I only had a vague idea of where I was heading, and still don't really know where I went, although Gos tells me from one of the photos I got to the top of Mt Ginnini. I just kept heading up till I got to the top of a hill covered in cloud, tried the same on the next hill and got stuck 2/3 of the way up a slippery slope, tried a couple more times then gave up and headed back home after about 2 hours of sliding around on the greasy roads and having an absolute ball....and my boots aren't shiny anymore
Obligatory pics below....
