 it would have to be 15 years + since I have been down there, I grew up on the north shore & apart from the OPH this was a stopming ground for us, but we wouldnt bother on the weekend, too many boats being trailered in ... early mid week in summer :D :D beauty!

+ you have to add in McCarrs creek Rd & head out to the beaches 8)

we did that as well... headed into the nasho... thru akuna bay, then hung a left to go to west head, then double back and head thru church point and onto McCarrs Creek Road...

first part of the ride is very bumpy, heading out to west head tho was nice, with some sweepers and no bumps....

we only passed 2 boat trailors... so it wasnt too bad... 8)

Yeah with that you have to be lucky ... Sunday AM is the worst with all the fishos heading down to the ramps.
& some of the corners are pretty blind, you can come up on one pretty damn fast    MANY years ago a mate ran up the arse end of a 20' fiberglass boat with outboard, bit messy but he walked away... just... & the bike ended up under the trailer was a write off :(

used to be my local when I was living out that way about a year ago.

Only downside about that road as it needs some serious attention

the early parts near terry hills do need attention badly!!!

in regards to boats.... i think we hit the timing perfectly, we got there around 130 and so we were out by just after 2 so we missed the trailor peak hour!!!
