Well.... after only having the track bike.... i got a bit antsy for a bit of road action.....

So I lashed out today on a carbon blinged up beast It should help me get track fit too

here it is

well this morning I did a first ride into work to see how long it would take etc... took me 35 mins riding time, and averaged 28.4 km/h was pretty happy with that, considering it was my first ride in many years

The ride home sucked! lol, I took it easy, as i have to ride into work in the morning... but it was hot and into a headwind.... dropped my overall average km/h down to 22.3... but i did go a different way and it consisted of more hills

LoL... perhaps dunger cheapo motorcylcle cost.... RRP was 2195, got it for 1750.... plus a few hundred on gear ie... shoes.... spandex.... wireless cycling computer... lights... helmet etc..

Well i rode into work this morning.... leaving home @ 0540.... took 35 mins @ 29.4 km/h average... which i thought was not too bad after doing the ride yesterday.... my legs were a bit stiff for the first 5 km or so... but then loosened up nicely

I took the soft option and got my mrs to pick me up in the cage.... I'd rather ride in the mornings... to get used to it a bit more... prob get a pick up tomorrow arvo then do the both ways on saturday My body and legs feel ok... it is just my ass man.... it hurts! lol (*** awaits the smart ass responses....)

Mate, spandex..

The shoes and pedals are a must.. And i do agree a quality pushie is the go.. Mine was about $1500 if i remember rightly..

I notice you have the slant frame, did they recommend that for your height..

Giant is a great brand... Me, i have a Trek...

And no i will not be riding up to come riding with you..
