Don't call me a fair weather rider

Weather? What weather?
I got my bike registered this morning. I left the front tyre til last and didn't get it fitted until Friday night. Been champing at the bit all weekend.
Anyway, I got up this morning and it was blowing a gale, pissing with rain and there was even some snow about. Not much chance of taking the bike out on two brand new tyres.
So I went to the city in the car and discovered that it doesn't rain everywhere. Stopped at an inspection station on the way home and made the enquiry. Not for a week I was told, so, off I went to find one that could do it today. "How soon?" the guy says. "As long as it takes me to drive home and ride it back." Did I mention I was champing at the bit? 20 kilometres isn't too far on an unregistered bike.
As usual, the inspection was a breeze and I continued on into the city to pay the rego. Where it rained. It bucketed, and it blew. I've waited six months to ride this bike and I had a freshly minted rego label, so 80 kilometres and a damn good soaking later;
Of course, when I got home ready for a nice hot bath - the sun shone.
What am I doing tomorrow before I take it out again? Polishing.
