That sounds like a very long phone call.
It sounds like you got your insurance down to $1,400.I haven't insured my ZX10 yet.Is that the best price that I can expect to get if I get full comp insurance? That seems fairly expensive to me but I don't know what the average cost is.How much do you think third party would roughly cost MG?

Were the exhaust heat sheilds on your bike black from the factory or did you paint them? I'm curious because mine are silver.

Going from my own experiences, the cheapest insurance for your bike will be either Shannons or Insure my ride. People have had good and bad things to say about both. I've made a claim with shannons and it wasn't all that difficult.

My 10 is insured with QBE, they've always been ok, even when I dropped the CRB two years ago. Fully comp is $1100 and covers kit.

Assuming you get/have got a 10r Kwaker750, it's an expensive bike not to have insured.

Mine was $1167 (QBE) this year, then i went and did an online quote with InsureMyRide.
QBE matched and beat it , now i pay $800, including gear.

Thanks for the insurance cost info everyone.I've got a 2007 ZX10 ( I have been slack in updating my profile.)It's good to compare what people are paying for insurance and from who. That way we know what to expect when we get a quote.
The $800 policy from QBE sounds pretty good.If I can match that with my bike I will be happy.

That transcript was possibly the longest most uninteresting forum post I've ever read ; apparently a good result for MG, but sadly for me it amounts to 10 minutes of my life I'll never get back ...

If the premium is reasonable I shouldnt see why not. I'm not insuring with IMR or QBE
regardless of any quote I get from them.

I've done f*ckall riding (maybe avg 1 ride a week) in the last 10mths compared to daily
in the past. Anyway, the bike has been in the workshop last fortnight having work done
to it.
