I'd say this bloke probably works for a insurance company like RACV. Hence why he meantioned the insurance price.

Bike was bought from Qld & insured in Qld with Suncorp. I live in Melb.
& mentioned premium because it was $100's less than what I was quoted
with my insurer here in Melbourne.

It's not that the mirrors on the 10 are useless, you took them off for the sake of vanity, which I don't have a problem with as long as you don't try to cover it up with pisspoor excuses.

and footpegs too, they get in the way when leaning hard...much easier just hanging ur legs freely...

At least ditching the mirrors altogether improves the lines of a bike. Pig-spotter mirrors are a solid contender for the ugliest aftermarket accessory I've ever laid eyes on.

They make me cringe worse than pointy bar ends.
