I don't think I'll worry about the exhaust just yet. There are lots of things that are more important.
This will need replacing;

and this has got to be one of the dodgiest things I've seen for a while.

I did manage to score a Metzler Z1 for the back and he is getting me a new front tyre, then it will need stripping down and a proper coat of paint. Mind you, the finish isn't too bad for a spray can - 'cept where he painted over the original stickers. A few minor cracks in the plastics will need welding. Then there is the front wheel. :( It's taken a bit of a knock. It doesn't seem to affect the rideability but I was planning on polishing the rims.
Motor wise it seems pretty sound. It runs like a dream when warm, but a total pig when its cold - and of course it had been run before I took it for a test ride yesterday :oops: A good service and a carby balance should fix it up. It will keep me out of mischief for a while and for the money I paid I got nothing to complain about. :wink:

Yeah, wrong on so many levels. But its ok, they're falling off of their own volition. :D

They're the tyres that were on it when it skated along somewhere on its right side. While I was first looking at it some guy came up and said, "They're brand new tyres!" I said, "I don't think so. :wink: "

Do you reckon I can get that rim straightened?

edit; That pic didn't look that big when I just resized it. :shock: But I'm not doing it again. I can't get the hang of this Gimp thing.

gimp? *looks towards neka*

oh and speaking of gimp, a usefull program a workmate pointed me towards was "portable app", just use it to keep all your crap on a thumb drive if you hop computers reasonably regularly.

and retreaded sports tyres, now that IS a worry.
