Had my first service done today and got some of bits installed but still angrly waiting for my pipe and fender elim (2 most important) but had my brake lines, crash's, screen and rear sproket done and what a big diff the sproket makes i had +3 on my old '03 ZX6R and only went +2 on this one but feels more....the brake lines are 10x better with feel and stoppies...(small ones anyway)

Hidepenny - The screen is a powerbronze Titanium Iridium air flow.

Saki - Ordered them thro my dealer but you can get them from http://www.johnstamnas.com/ as that's were i order mine previously great to deal with, but i'm pretty sure u can get the 2 line kit not the same as stock with 3 i dunno the diff...
I woke the best after about 200 odd clicks had many sportsbikes B4 and have a '06 ZX10R so no way could i ride it under 4g's am not a fan of the run in period its BS to me just ride it the same way u always would no point babying it if u ain't gonna ride it like that...
I have order the Akraprovic C/F pipe from Gas imports and a Valter Moto fender elim from Road Rocket in Melbourne but both thro dealer... 2 weeks i have been told.

i think reason being if it goes in for its 1000k service, might as well get it all done at once!

but crash's and screen take maybe an hour..and they are PISS easy... so ur paying sum1 to do sumthin like that is a waste...
sprocket (easy) brakes (pain in ass) and service i can understand...

well i know my place said it would take them 5 minutes to chuck the oggys on and when mine arrive they will put them on for free, so i know for me, i will just go pick them up and they will fit them! plus i am gettign them cheap!

modifying a bike is fun...and it feels so much more rewarding than paying sum1 to do it for u...
things ive done myself are pretty basic thru to a lil more advanced...

*fitting oggys,screen,grips,bar ends,hugger

*fitting chain/sprockets (with help)

*changing discs

* full rebuild (cept motor) after an accident.

$200 for first service, the reason they fitted most parts is i could lug them all home... and i wasn't expecting the screen and crash's to be there yet as they were on order so they just installed them for me for free...including brake lines so pretty good service if u ask me...
i do agree i much prefer doing things my self like oil changes etc i too changed my grips fairing bolts, screen, rewired and installed new blinkers front and rear, added green led euro lights in headlight casing so this time around was just more of a convenience thing...and getting the parts removed couriered home.
