..AND I will prob be sans licence.
One prob but dudette, MY feet dont touch the ground from the pillion and YOURs wont from the riders so we better get some outriggers for the traffic lights !!!

As for the duct tape, old habits die hard, might note it is wrapped over the tit toe sliders too....

Smitty, have to admit I was bit worried taking the big sucker out but it just laughs at me, easily as good as my old 7 was/is around the turns but just WADUFUCK down the straights

Dying to get them both out of the track (diff riders obv.) and swap to see...

Yeah that is the way to ride a 12 alright.

Well I can help with the comparison for ya Frogster, to make it a fair one I better take the 12 though, no way I would keep up on a 7 the way you ride that 12.......

Shall we say this monday at QR...?   8)

Just for comparitive purposes of course.

No I never DID get out with Hemi
I was cutting (just) faster times than his bro' on the 7 but Hemi went out in the last session on it and was cutting 23's on it.
I was timed at 27 so YEP Hemi kicked my butt.....

Now if I can get out there with him and learn how to use them funny brake thingies* I will be right

* engine decompression on the 12 means I dont HAVE to...

Bloody hell, it would be cheaper to get a hooker with the way banana prices are these days!

Oh and don't feel too bad about the comparitive times Frogster, you see ZX7Rs are a much superior bike to a 12......

Man I miss that thing. It was just so much fun riding it again. I really had forgotten what it was like, pinning the thing from just after apex and riding out the wobbles and slides was a bag of fun. It was as bouncy as hell through turn one and two though, it definitely needs some random clicking of rebound and compression adjusters. But it was sooooo much fun buzzing the BMW riders down the straights and then trying to get it to turn in. Seems the best way was to hang so far off it that ya look like a sidecar passenger and push the inside bar with everything you've got (which isn't much for me  ).

If this R1 continues to be so damn expensive I really could see myself getting hold of an old ZXR to run in New Era. Can't be that much different to the 7 can it...?

I tink the rules allow for a bike built and complied up to 12/1995. The wonderful thing about that being that the 1st shipment of ZX7R P's were brought into the country and complied late 1995 for 1996 release. So if you can find an early comliance plate you can run a ZX7R instead of a ZXR.
