well today i did a bit more work on the bike. got some long stalk indicators, borrowed a mates cordless and mounted them to the headlight unit. I also wired the headlight up after sorting out the issues *coughimanumskullcough*.

set about wiring the indicators only to find that the left indicators isnt getting any power, after swappiing cables and connections, i think ive narrorwed it down to the connection point between the oem indicator cable and the little connector box it plugs into. :? will have to run a multi meter over it sometime to clarify...

but at least 3 indicators and both headlights work. i'll tackle the other one next week. cant wait to ride it but it looks like it might be wet tomorrow morning. a quick ride the gf's in the arvo will have to suffice :(

anyway here's photos

see i can do wiring... sort of

Did you manage to keep low beam on while switching to high?

nah, havent figured that out :? think i would need to wire in a whole separate wire on that side of the light. if i cross the high beam and low beam wires on the low beam light, the high beam light comes on low beam, even though its wired separately :?

Put a relay on the high beam side that runs to the low beam an use the 12v from the high beam to switch the relay and run the final signal to the low beam.....
I think that will work..

That sounds weird mate. Gos's barge runs fine wasteland style. I can't see that Ram Air does that much, particularly down low. I reckon it's something else.
