My new ride - a very happy (acu)man indeed!!

Postby acuman » Mon Feb 11, 2008 8:31 pm

Hello all,
here is a couple of pics of my new set of wheels (2006 ZX12R with some bells and whistles).
Now all I need is for the weather to clear and the insurance to come thru and i will be out there on the big girl.
Cheers.

Congrats on the bike, you will love it i am sure..

But if i can ask some questions without sounding like a know it all, is it definately an 06 model ?? If so is it a very dark blue and where is the gold belly and gold wheels.. Looks to be an 05 model if its black.

Just making sure you got what you paid for mate... ;)

It definitely is an 06, Blue 14. I bought it from a friend who has had it from new.

You are very correct in picking the colour - it is a very dark blue in the sun and appears black in the shade.
The wheels have been powder coated black, along with the levers. The bellypan has been resprayed in the same dark blue as the rest of the bike.

I am seriously questioning whether i should have bought a boat instead, judging by the weather up here of late. The rain is great as we need it badly, but i want to go for a descent ride (in the dry).

The small rides i have had so far are great but i need more... i want to feel the power.
