Gos' bike is fuel injected.

Those little balancer tune things do something for the carbys

It was struggling down the straight without the ram air. Even 600's were going past him.

I'm thinkin I'll have a peep under the tank to see if anything has come loose in the airbox area... Otherwise it'll probably need re jetting... :?

I had that trouble on my 9 once and it was that the balancer tubes had come loose.
(or I didn't refit them properly)
One was loose on the metal end (front) - the other loose at the carb

Thanks Ty, I'm hoping that's the problem, I may have yanked the front breather tube whilst removing everything else!

Plenty of bikes have been 'fightered' so surely a trusted mechanic could sort this out for not much outlay?

ok, minor update... shrek snorkels were removed and the bike now runs much better (still kinda shit), id be guessing i now need to rejet/change the needles, to get a proper A/F ratio... at least its rideable above 40km/h now :lol:

You need the bike to go above 50klms an hour to be a track bike :P
Does it start up ok? Pull the choke on while it's running see if it's lean???
