Incoming Rant!!!

5 Weeks later and the Zed is ready to be picked up, but wait, I have to pay excess of $350, no no no i say i wanst at fault

Turns out for the Last 5 Weeks QBE have been sitting on their Hands doing nothing, so, now they have to start the process of investigating the claim (ya think they would do all this BEFORE they approve the claim) to find out who was at fault, and THEN they have to chase them for the money.

Finally after they get their money from them or NRMA (who they are insured with) they pay Team Moto, and THEN i get my bike back

Option 2, i could pay Team Moto the 350 (Which i dont have as i have jsut returned from holidays and wont have it for 3 weeks or so....) then when they finish with their investigations i can apply for them to refund me..... so either way, its looking to be a few weeks before i get the bike back, and then a few weeks after that i get my money (becasue the NEVER return money as quick as your required to pay them!)

Arggghhhhhhhh

Had this shit with Just Cars, i thought i was dealing with a reputable Company This Time around, well, looks like im shopping for a new Insurance Co

Am i looking too much into this or is this stupidity on QBE's behalf with a capital FKD

I had a similar drama with my daughters car when some knob backed into it. I thought it wasn't a problem if you had full comprehensive though. We only had third party property. In my case though the bastards wouldn't start repairing it until they got the other blokes excess payment and he was stalling. I went around to his house and told him I'd be back every day, every hour until he paid the excess. He paid :)

Team moto (Kwaka dealer still?) in Maroochydore is actually quite unique being a good place for service and repairs in my experience, or at least they were a couple of years ago.

Problem is they kept some of the same crappy staff left over from the previous owner herein lies the main problem, another thing I noticed when they were running the show, for one visit I strolled in in & it took ages before the sales dude would put down his coffee & give me some service...Fark him up the backside I ended up walking straight out & have never set foot in there again.

Yeah pretty casual really, i always insisted on one of their mechanics who's name escapes me to work on my bike because he was very competant and the fact that one of the apprentices put a new front hoop on backwards and left fairing screws loose which fell out plus other minor annoyances. But overall I found them helpful at least in the early days before Team moto took it over probably because i bought 2 new bikes from them
