Mon Jan 05, 2009 10:42 pm

I wont say anything about that name Tim :P
With the header pipes may I suggest getting them sand blasted or chemically treated, then Ceramic coated..... looks the goods & will last longer ;)

Thanks for the encouragment and tips Rob and Richo. :)

Fenderectomy makes a big improvement! 8) Much more sporty.

The pipes were quite rusty. A good clean and buff and rub buff brought them up much better, the treatment sounds good. Performance coatings are back on the 12th.

Just a few hours Rob..... and the inevetible question - what happened to 12 points?

I'm noticing a few members "suspended"

Exceeding the speed limit by over 30 = 3 months off the road & 4 points...... previously I had 12 points for over 6 years

I'm scared about the almost inevitable "MANDATORY MONITORING OF SPEED BY GPS" outcome...... I don't think politicians will be able to avoid it. A letter-writing loved-one of a previously innocent deceased p-plate victim tends to have a lot of sway in modern law making. Just a case of when, not if. The tightening of restrictions and punishment in my driving life has been akin to the inflation of a can of softdrink - I paid $3 yesterday.

Dont worry bout that! It wont happen....they will lose to much revenue. Its all about money don't think for a minute they care about if you kill yourself or not
