:P Nice one Brett, and how's that colour maaaate !! I have not been to the Tamworth museum...... :?

Neka - those brakes were twin-piston Lockheeds, and were the *ducks guts* back in their day - they have *heaps* of power ( well, in a relative sense....the bike only weighed 130kg......)

The old H2R was a bit of a 'handful', but the KR750 as above was far more refined, and as a consequence, much easier to ride. It was lighter and narrower than the opposition TZ750's, it did have *slightly* less hp......and despite appearances, it actually handled very well.

My old Z1000 racer only has a 'braced' standard frame, but the extra bracing means it is very stable at well over 200kmh, not like the 'stock' frame....... brrrrrr, scary.....

Krusty, those old waterbottles are a great old rig......I still have a couple of mates that own one  , they sound even better with a 3-1 chamber

I'm sitting on the balcony of our rented holiday unit in Forster at the moment having a beer and checking my emails. Went past Nabiac on the way in so if the weather goes shit I'll cruise out and take alook (and some photo's)

Its a great place to spend a couple of hours looking, in fact 1/2 a day is not out of the question - if Brian gets his old m/cycle movies running   - tell him 'Team Donut' sent you  He is a top bloke, and sold me *quite* a few dirt bikes back in the old days.....
