New Ears

New ears!!!! Finally got rid of the stock dumbos.

Very happy with the aesthics of the mirrors, I'm working on the functionality.

Got them from rideitmoto.com, delivery came straight from China. Packaging and product were 'shock' all superb.

Still nutting out the set up for these. There is 4 screws that whilst add 'customisation' they are also weak points for vibration. And I didnt bring the allan keys with me on the first test ride so had some flappy mirrors for a while

Went for a sprint out to west head today before the rain came in. Where the mirror plate connects to the riser rod there seems to be a ball joint, whilst there is a screw there, doesnt seem to actually tighten the connection. So approx at 130/150 clicks the mirrors pivot back On bumps too. Only the second ride, so I need time to fully scope it out. Wont ever have the visability of the stockers, as they were higher, larger and a bit wider. But these look way better, more aerodynamic and must be faster

Call me strange but I like the stock bars on both my Z and ZRX, they have the goldilocks feel.......just right

Oh yeh, mirrors look much better then the OE ones
