Well, not that loud, but it sounds nice to me. I have a blue '98 ZX9, with an akrapovic muffler, K&N filter. Am wanting to do a few more things to her, or maybe trade in for a ZX12.
I know the 9's and 12's are not the same, but are they a similar riding position?
Thanks
Natalie

Hi Screamin', welcome to the Club mate.
In answer to your question, yes they are. Feet on the pegs, bum on the seat, hands on the bars and give it the berries mate
trade up to a 12, they are the ducks guts......
cheers
Dave
(happy 05 ZX12R owner.....)

Hi Screamin9, welcome to the club here. To answer your question, with one

Try sitting on them both at the same shop, one after the other. I know it's not the same as riding but you can tell a lot from where your hands and feet and head end up. I jumped on both, found the 9 to be unacceptable for my 6foot 96 kg body, far too sporty and "over the forks" for me. The 12 seemed a better fit I thought.
