New guy from Adelaide - looking for stuff to do?!

Hey all - predictably my name is Stephen - just recently purchased my first bike, a ZZR-250 (late 92 - I think it's an EX250H, or maybe F - I can't remember right now). Have only been riding bikes for a few hours in total which means I suck at riding but am keen to learn.
I had a look in the ride days and get together's section and there is bugger all in Adelaide. Is Mallala still open to bikes - anyone here a regular there? Or has that gone to buggery because of a few - err unfortunate (and sometimes tragic) incidents.

Welcome Stephen. We have a few Adelaide members at the moment, it's just that we are too slack to get together for a ride. We'll have to make it happen one day!!
Feel free to come out for a ride next time we head out, and if Mark can be bothered he might slow down a little bit and give you some advice.

Hey Steve,
Welcome aboard.
The Bay (Glenelg) is on most friday and Saturday nights, especially now the weather is on the improve. If I get a chance I'll be out there tonight (look for the shirt ...oh and the Blue 636).
I ride most weekends when I can scare someone in to going with me. We are as slack as fark ATM and no-one is posting rides (Aardvark and I got a beauty in last Sunday though....Decoy and Neka were out too). So feel free to post sopmething up in the rides section, for that matter I've had the last couple of goes, so anyone else can feel free to post up a ride.
As Greeny said we have some of the best roads around right in our back yard (literaley for Neka and I) so get out have a go and feel free to PM any or all of us and see what we're up to.
Cheers,
Mark
