Hiya,

Just picked up a 1990 ZZR600, and found this site and thought I'd get involved.

Looking forward to getting some assistance from other members when I need info when working on my bike.

I'm in Sydney, and a fairly new rider. Used to ride Yamaha XT600's in the Army, only recently got my R licence. So I'm a real newbie!

Nice ride - and welcome.
Quite a few of us have had the zzr, so pipe up with any q's.
Come out on some rides too - we have regular runs of both the nasho and old pacific highway.
Where abouts in Sydney are you?

Hey man welcome to the Klub.

You should put your location in your profile so it comes up under your name. Just makes it easier.

Nice Bike!

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I've been checking this forum in between going to the shop, or to a mates place, or the the servo to check my tyre pressures, or to no where in particular.........

Any excuse will do :D New bike and I can't stay away from it.

Welcome Valski, nice looking bike. What number of K's on it?

We are very happy with the 92 ZZR600 we have. Enjoy the riding experience and jump in and have fun.

cheers

Tape - It's got 22,000 kms on it. I kinda thought it might have been around the clock once already, but it's got no stone chips on it, and everything else looks pretty good, so I guess I picked up a good bike.

I got the "only ridden on weekends" spiel from the sales dude, but in this case I think it was true, even met the previous owner who was an old guy who said he'd only used it on weekends to visit his mum or something.
