hello - my name is amanda (hi amanda) and i've been riding a kawasaki for almost two years now with no hope of recovery. i've got a 2000 zx9r and i absolutely love it. fortunately/unfortunately it's a green one. since i bought it used i really didn't have much of a say about the color. it's now grown on me and i really like the green - can't believe that i just admitted that! actually it gets worse. i just bought a fieldsheer mesh jacket that has bits of green on it. i figure while i'm riding the bike - i can't see the green so it's all good.
i'm over here in the states outside of washington, dc. hopefully you won't hold that against me - kidding. i've been riding for about five years now and can't imagine ever not riding. i've been all of the place with my previous bikes - a yamaha v-star classic 650 and then a suzuki sv650. i actually got to ride a friend's 2001 zx9 when i crashed the sv. i broke off the shifter knob and after a lot of convincing on his part - we switched bikes on the way back to my house. i was pretty much done after that - so when my local shop got my bike in - i knew that i had to have it. it's probably one of the better decisions that i'm willing to admit to.
