Hello from the Gong

Postby Bionic » Mon May 23, 2005 5:55 pm

Hi guys and Gals.
Just got myself a 95 ZXR750 that was in bits and low sided down Maquarrie Pass for a good price. 3.5 year ago and has been sitting pulled appart since then
So over the last 4 weeks My old man and I have been working on it slowly putting it together and working out the Wiring Loom (Which was pulled out)

So only have to repair and repaint the side fairings and get new tyres and im away

Got it started this arvo!!

So hopefully in a few weeks if you live around Wollongong and ride up the pie shop you might see me!!!

Hey man, Nice bike. Ya just cannot beat the 7s. Good luck, I hope you get it going soon. How hard was that wiring? Looking down the same road myself, but thinking of paying someone to do it. Just so many friking wires in these things....

About this hard

Image

It would have been smooth sailing but we had a few gremlins. SOme of the connections in the junction box were faulty as well as the Kill switch, It took us 4 hours of tracing wires to figure out the kill switch was faulty..
And also to make things worse the Australian Bike has different wiring than the US, UK, Canadian Models which were the only models in the Manual .
So far it took me around 15 hours to it sort of together as in the picture. Then it took us around 30 odd hours to work out the wirirng. And the problems there.

Another pic
