Welcome aboard mate. To sort out your bike's rear suspension, get yourself an L model (93-95, and definitely not an M) linkage, with either an L shock or a P (96+) shock ; in the latter case you'll probably have to notch your battery box to make it fit, but you'll end up with trick(ish)-looking rear suspension. unless you're feeling flush and want to lash out on an Ohlins, try to get one of the above OEM shocks with as little mileage as possible on it.
