New to this forum, thought I'd say hi. New to Kawasaki's, spent 4 days on a green Ninja 250 with my dad in Malaysia, and then bought a green Versys when I came back to Australia. Haven't ridden it much yet (busy, and it's very tall so not overly confident riding it around - getting the seat redone tomorrow by John Moorhouse), but so far am loving it. Had a Suzuki SV650 before this, so the Versys had a very high benchmark to compare against, and so far - Yep, am certainly loving the Versys

Haven't done much to it so far. Dropped the front forks about 15mm to help me to get the bike home, if I can get the seat low enough I would probably think about raising them back up again to stock. Have no idea how to do this though, it looks like I'll need some way of jacking the front of the bike up to do this? Does anyone know?
Apart from that, have installed a 12v Powerlet style socket on the dash, installed an Autocom intercom system and a RAM mount for my GPS on the handlebars. Have also put a flap in front of the rear wheel to stop water and muck covering the rectifier, apparently it's a very common issue for the Versys (or so the UK owners recon). Would like to get a rear hugger sometime, but have no money for that at the moment...
Plans next - H&B top box (Journey 50) and panniers (probably Junior 40's). I believe ginny650 has the top box? Looks the goods, and well priced, I hope it works out well.
Anyway, so yeah - Hi
