Hi All,

New to this site, if anyone has upgrade options for my GPZ900r or knows someone who can help that would be great. Three kids and a lack of cash will slow the upgrades on my old girl but with time and some bargin hunting on ebay she will be great again.

Two upgrade options that spring to mind are the ZX10 and the ZX6. :)

Hi Neka79

I hope to go on the toy run Sunday, the GPZ is know for running hot and mine is no exception so the temp on the day will determine if I ride of not.

Thanks for the advise on the upgrades, will be looking into the zx6 and zx9 when I look to upgrade but cash will be a factor.

Bugger em Phil. Stick with what you've got. Cant get a stronger engine than that.
Motorcycles and money go hand in hand, unfortunately at the moment I cant get my hands on either
Too many people look at what they have and then look at whats bigger and better, nothing wrong with what you have. But it doesn't take much to
a) maintain yours at the current condition it is at
b) build on what you have.

All the best and I'm sure the old buggers on the site can help you out.......I was still in high school when the GPZ was new

Nice bike for the age..

Rims look great polished..

I'm doing some resto work and later budget upgrades on an 85 starting with carbs and air filters... If all goes well will post results on GPZ threads..

The motors are pretty damn good in the z's . Most who know bikes respect em!

Welcome ... This lot are an ok crew 8)
