New but not so new...

Postby Wazzr250 » Tue Nov 30, 2004 4:30 pm

Hi all

Have been in the SA ride days forum for a week or so and thought I should say g'day to the masses.

I've just got my learners at age 35 (better late than never I guess!) and just bought a new ZZR-250... a red one coz the bike shop dude told me they go faster

Cheers

my wife bought me a bike for last xmas, i asked her why Red as i dont really like red that much, she stated the same thing "coz they go faster"
I looked at her with glee, happy she allowed me to travel at high speeds but she continued that due to the fact Red bike go faster stats also say they get booked more so i should loose my licence soon and be able to spend more time at home

so i sold that bike and bought a black one :D true story

anyways the ZZR should provide you with lots of fun Wazzr, 35's not to old for learners, just means your better abled to support the speeding fines

Welcome Wazzr, fyi, green is the new red
It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.

Hey WaZZ, incase you feel slightly ripped off, in a recent poll in Septembers edition of Performance Bikes...When a whole bunch of silly women (English what can you expect??) (Oh crap I'm half pommie!!) Which is cooler? Which is faster? Out of Blue and Black Gixxer1000's, 62.5% said Black is cooler, and 75% said Black is faster. But obviously with me riding a black zx6r, I would have to say black is cooler, faster and definately sexier! Toss the red and paint it black!! :P Contrats on the new bike tho. The ZZ-R is always the reliable. I ran mine into the ground and it still did 170km/hr after 14yrs!! I even got money for it when I sold it too!!
