G'Day All from Mick in Mt. Hutton NSW

Hi everyone :D,

I joined the forum shortly after returning from my first Phillip Island WSBK in March and thought I had better sit my arse down and introduce myself.

My name is Mick and my ride of choice is a 2006 ZX12R, bought brand new in October last year, two days after getting my licence. After 27 years of off road I wanted something new. My body couldn't handle off road anymore (national average for major surgery per head of population is 2.5 times in one's lifetime, my total is up to 5 (3 times due to motorcycle incidents) with a couple more to come (knee surgery), so I have moved to the road - and am loving it!!!

Big shout out to Phil Harlem and the other KSRC riders/members I met at Cann River on my way down and later on at Phillip Island :D. Everyone's tips were great, making for an even better trip home. Christ almighty my bike is FAST!!.........lmao. There was a wishlist a mile long before I went to the World Supers, now all I want is suspension work and brakes, though the stockers aren't half bad.

Cheers everyone and will be on the lookout for KSRC Members at MotoGP. Now I know the road, just try and keep me away!!

Ride smart, ride safe

Mick

P.S.

Has anyone heard or read anything as to whether there will be a ZX14R in the future?

Hi fellas,

No that's not a factory 'R', more like a customised ZX14. But it is closer to how the ZX14 should look stock I reckon. Thanx for the reply Neka. I will have to read up on who did the work :).

Yeah I know there are no more 12R's coming. Pity, great bike in my opinion. $15,990 ride away made it even sweeter.

Cheers,

Mick
