hey guys
my name is troy
i dont have a bike as yet but have been riding for a while
im very interested in the z1000 and been looking at getting either a 06 or a 07 model
the new ones do appeal just a little more though
if anyone rides one of these here can i get a bit of feedback on performance
eg: cornering, fuel per litre, and just general riding...and if there has been any problem with them
im not a hardcore rider but i do like to have fun in the twisties

gday mate..welcome..where u from?

just got me a 06 brand new..only done 800km on it but i think im in lust..the thing is so much fun...

handles well, brakes ok (will be better after thurs when i put the braided lines on) and has enuf grunt (has bucketloads and is still being run in)...

cant say nething bad..cept maybe the lack of fairings make it a bit chilly, but i did choose to ride naked!

hey thanks for the warm welcome guys
im planning to go to floyd parks in FTG to test ride one on thursday
im really would like to go the new 07 as its has some new upgrades from the 06 model but there is a bit of a price difference
so im trying to think which way i would go
im looking at saving about $3000-$4000 if i went the 06 as i know if i saved that much there will be some nice pipes and some little mods here and there

so many decisions

mate i have already spent close to $4k on mods/ acces for mine and its still abt $3k off being done...lol
