Hi guys I've been cruising this site for a while and thought it might be good manners to say hello. On the gold coast currently but moving to Brisbane in about 4 weeks if all goes well with a new job. I got an er6-n thats a crap load of fun to ride, especially since I put on a set of pilot powers but she s a little scratched at the moment due to a date I had with a barb wired fence (funny story that one, will save it for later). So after repairs look forward to going on rides,
moth

Ok so neka wants to hear/read the story me stacking so here goes. Well i was told to take it easy on the new tyres till they scrub in so i went for a leasurely cruise through the GC hinterland. Well to cut a long story short (too late) I took an easy left then a hard right was doing less than 60 km/h and hit leaves and tar filler in the road then bloody well highsided...from the front tyre. Flying through the air straight towards a barbed wire fence. Let's just say i was lucky we have helmet laws other wise i would have no head. Everything looks different when you are upside down hung up in a fence, felt like a fly in a web. Bike ended up in a stormwater v trench, bent handle bars, engine case damage all fairings/cowlings on the left were damaged headlight surround and front fender and worst of all ...my pride  . But got the beast started and rode for another 2 hours  .
