Yo Glenn & other QLD Kwakers

Postby Yankee » Fri Nov 05, 2004 9:44 pm

guess i'll do the right thing and introduce myself B4 I just start posting replys to things.... I'm "Yankee" off ozsportsbikes and that's where I found out about ksrc. Sounds like this'll be a nice place to hang out, as anything Kwak is good to me! I am always looking for things for my bike and tips and advice, etc. & of course giving all the above items as well (even without being asked!)
anyway, I'm in Brissy (best place on earth), on a '00 6R (firecraker red), almost done with uni (mature aged student lol) for the semester (therefore ride days!!!!!)
uh, that's about it.... howdy all. oh, i'm originally from San Diego, CA, (4yrs here in Oz) hence "Yankee"
cheers

Hi mate 8)
It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.

Welcome to the forum! Ozsportsbikes, ick. Used to be on that forum, not very female friendly. Have bumped into about 3 other female members on eBay (Would you believe) who have all left too. Hope to see you on a ride sometime soon! Nice bike btw, loved that colour!

WOW! So far so good on this site! figures... great bikes, great folks! yeah, can't wait to get out there on the black stuff.... brett, as soon as school is out (oh sorry, "uni") those weekday jaunts sound cool! and sorry to hear about some of the (-) comments about OSB, Good info over there.....
anyway, cheers for making me feel so at home on here!!!
and Dan, everyone knows red is faster, even the cops! actually i really wanted the blue (fav color) but i wanted A NEW BIKE more at the time (apr last year) and the blue one i was looking at, the guy wouldn't budge on price and i found too many things wrong with it, so, my baby was found else where!! i like the red though.......
cheers all!!!!
