Well, Shellharbour to be precise, but I work in Fairy Meadow ;)

Hi all.
I've just put a holding deposit on a '77 Z650 (B1), and am organising to pick it up within the next week sometime (provided my Dad has spare time). It's unregistered, so I can't just ride it home :(

I've been on my L's since April and have been desperately trying to find a decent learner legal bike to carry me throughout the L's/P's period and even beyond restrictions.
I'm too big for a 250 (6'8" and around 140kg), so I wanted a bigger LAMs bike.
I spotted the Z650 and just had to have it! 8)

Here's some pics from the ad.

It only needs a couple of things done to be registered (new battery, new 7" sealed light, new rubber grips, and would like wider mirrors so I can see behind me), so I should be on the road soon'ish.

Nice scoot and welcome mate.
Good choice over a 250, should keep you out of trouble.

Yeah, I like the look of those bars too. The guy had a second set of bars with a 'chopper' style to them. I much prefer this style, but may still take them off him as well.

Bald Hill car park? Sounds more like a place to get lynched as opposed to getting coffee :)
Where is it? Can't say i've heard of Bald Hill.

I do love the Zephyr's. They're a very nice bike!
