Goodonya mick, I like a man who knows his limitations and very impressed when he can turn that limitation into a positive! lolmick_dundee wrote:Welcome abord, i'm just up the road in North Coburg and if ya need help with the project, suggest DON'T call me as I know fuck all, or maybe slightly less than that, I can however, stand around and watch you work and drink your beer as seems to be the modus operandi at Casa Madkaw in NSW so if you need assistance there, feel free to give me a yell.
Thanks Gos, no pic's yet as I just got 1of 2 bikes, I hope to get 2nd this weekend, Metal triumph is the black and gold unit I googled? "a very fine bit of kit" and a benchmark of mine... haven't sighted mick lc's yet but as soon as I get my head around this site I will look out for it. cheers peteGosling1 wrote:Hi Pete - welcome aboard mate. Great to hear that another z650 cafe project is about to get underway.....there are a couple of nice ones floating around up here in Anarchy Road (ACT), and I am sure we will be able to help you out with whatever info you need.
Mick LC has a very nice z650B1, not a cafe racer but a really well-detailed and maintained every day rider, Metal Triumph (Al) has done up one of the tastiest 650 cafe racers getting around, I have a daily rider '81 model......there are a few other members here who have also played with these bikes over the years......
Have you got any photos yet ? Always good to keep a record of the progress.....
