"Hi Everybody!"

Postby Dr Nick » Fri Oct 06, 2006 10:16 pm

Hi everbody, my name's Nick. Im not a doctor, i just reckon Dr Nick from the simpsons is a champion!

Anyways im from Wollongong and just a couple of hours ago got myself a sweet 2003 636. Has a few k's on it but has been really well looked after. Got a full Yoshi system, power commander and filter. Its my first 'real' sportsbike. Previous bikes : 1. ZXR250, 2. RZ250, 3. TRX850

Anyways, only had the bike a few hours and i LOVE it! So much more power than the TRX, waaaaaay more exciting and the brakes, oh the brakes!

Anyways hope to get to know some of you people, you must be a great bunch if you ride kwaka's. Cheers,

Nick

Neka likes to think he's a gynacolagist (sp?) (never seen one personally) :D

Welcome Dr Nick, there are a few members around your way, the loudest one doesn't have her license back yet but that will happen one day :D

Hey Ho everybody its Dr Nick
Mate, there was a Dr Rodrigus in Rton that saved my leg AND he said he would throw in a free heart transplant.
He looked EXACTLY like Dr Nick and inmy drug induced state I of course called him that. So Dr Nick has very GOOD memories for me, every time I walk. Doing a LOT of that lately

Oh and your 636 is a Barra (mundi) in Qlder idiom.
That look from the front, pure barra, SO sweet they would put a horn on a jelly fish
Unless you put a milk crate on the back
Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD

Ha milk crate, no way! Single seat all the way. Cant even take pillion as the exhaust is high rise so no more foot pegs!

Yeah im pretty stoked with it, first sports bike. Been riding all morning and had a ball. She's in pretty good nic, got a couple scratches and a bit of a crack in the RHS fairing, apparently a stationary fall. Top end is a bit noisy but mechanic says its not too bad. Goin to get the clearances checked anyway.

Its goin to take me a while to get used to, sooooo different to my old TRX. Where the rexy was getting into the red zone, this thing is barely starting to tick over! I have to get used to the revs, all morning i thought i was ringin its neck, only to realise that i was only on about 11k rpm! Man what a sweet noise it makes, big loud pipe, awsome induciton noise, wicked 8)

Right hand side, can see where the little bit of the fairing is broken off. Less than matchbox size
