Welcome!

I agree with Kellz, take it easy and your confidence will slowly increase. I had an off on my 250 April last year, still getting physio on my damaged foot (nerve and tendon damage - doesn't look pretty either!), and it took me a while to not be nervous riding! I was on the back of a bike the week after, but unable to support a bike's weight for 3 months (crutches for 2!!)! Then, I went out and bought a 98 ZX6R Ninja!

My mum loves it that I ride! She always brags to people that her daughter rides a motorbike and drives a V8 blah blah blah! Some mum's are different I guess!

Also, what's this about standing back and supervising the work done on your bike????? Get in there and get your hands dirty girly!! You wanna ride, you gotta be able to service and fix too! It's all about learning!!

Anyway, good luck in the recovery, get your hand checked out maybe?

Stay safe!

Good to hear your both you and your bike are on the road recovering Kayla :D

As for the confidence thing, I agree with the others - take it easy and it'll come back... I've been chatting to a few of my friends who've come off before, and most of them actually say it was the best thing for them! They were either way too confident or much too under confident at the time of their crashes, and it's balanced them out...

Look at it this way - you came off... it was scary, but you survived.
So now you know you have to be a little careful, but you can also be confident enough to ride knowing that you were still able to get back up, even after you fell :D

Oh, and I agree with ZX6Angel's last post - when it comes to riding and fixing your ride - get in there and get dirty girl!

Keep it FuN!

well hello..another girl- ...woo hoo...
so many posts to reply to (cos i have to reply to em all..ull understand)...
hmm where to start...

boobs= freebies...my gf is always getting free coffee for me (local coffee shop ), and has got me sum great prices on other things (quote on another Tat the next thing)

dont be scared to get back on the horse...just give it a kik in the nuts for being a bitch, and teach it how its gunna be...take ur time & get use to the bike again (especially after uve fixed stuff- it might ride differently)

get ur hand checked out....i still havent got mine checked (jumped off a roof onto concrete in April- i was pissed....)...we suspect i may of broken a bone in there at the time...it was sore for months & still gives me trouble (right hand too..so wheelie control's at a bit of a disadvantage)

im sick of typing..so im gunna sod off...

the lads meet at Loftus oval just at the top of the RNP...its only 20 min from Liverpool (if that)..tho if u want sumthing different, head down thru narrellan, bargo, picton, yerrinbool, bowral, moss vale to robertson, down maq pass, and then up the old princess back to liverpool....not a bad run..good for noobs too...

adious!!
