Good morning

Postby doobie » Wed Dec 12, 2007 8:40 am

Thought I'd introduce myself instead of just trolling about.

Just got back onto two wheels after a couple years off after owning a CBR250RR. I've now picked up a ZXR-750 J1 and trying to figure out why I ever stopped riding. :)

edit: from Sydney

Welcome aboard the bored board! ;) Noice J mate!!!!!! :D I still reckon they are one of the best looking Kawasaki's to be produced! That and the 05/06 636 are my two faves! :) Good to see you back on two wheels again and even better to see you on a Kawasaki!

Welcome Doobie,
I like your bike too, love the wing on the back, not too keen on the inlet pipes going into the tank though. A bit to look at me Ive got them too type thing.
but I agree with strika, one of the better looking kawasakis. If only my old body could handle bending over that far I might consider one of them.
Anyway, whats your story? Where ya from? Age? Hobies etc. And howed ya get that name? Smoking too many or are you like me and just love the band?

It is a bit of reach to the handle bars, but i've kinda got longish arms so it isn't causing me any dramas as of yet. However, the tank doesn't seem to be designed for male riders and can get you adjusting a bit. Other than that, she is such a nice ride...

I'm from Sydney, 22, work for a media company in the city -- don't know if when i'll get the balls to ride into work, but i'm thinking of it. As for the name, a mate started calling me funk doobius after the dj or whatever simply because my name is Dave and doobius began with a d, just one random day and it stuck :P
