Newbie to KSRC and riding in general...

Postby PinkBike » Fri Jan 05, 2007 1:24 pm

Hello all,

I was told to visit this site by the lovely people on MRAA after I asked for feedback on my potential new bike: Kawasaki ZZ-R250.

A little about me? Well, I've loved bikes and riding for years but have always only ever been a passenger! I've intended to get my licence and my own bike for over a year, but somehow the money just never seems to be available... (especially after they hiked up the price of getting your licence by 3 times!!) I have regularly been riding with mates and have been on the Adelaide Toy Run for the last 4 years.

I was hoping that some of you Kawasaki lovers could give me some advice about whether this particular bike would be a good first bike for a reasonably petite 23 yo female. I dont have much in the way of muscles, so I'm concerned about getting a bike that I can actually lift!

I'd appreciate any opinions anyone would like to offer! :)

And feel free to message me any time.

Susan.

Welcome aboard Susan...

The ZZR is a great first bike and you'll go from being very gentle with it to ripping it up through the Adelaide hills in no time...

Have you met Neka yet?

Actually... funny you should ask, I was just reading through a series of posts about this "Neka".... is she a chick who likes chicks?

And no, I certainly haven't met her.... just so we're clear, I'm not into chicks.

Thanks Dave :)

I like your choice of bike, dunno about the colour though... :P
