Got to Whalers about 9:30am. Found the KSRC Sticker nice & predominant right beside the front door on the glass wall (Tagged). Wasn't long and Red Sean and Christian (with the Mica Jibbers) arrived, a few introductions were dispatched followed by some niceties, a smoke for the stragglers (just in case) and off we headed to the Glorious Gold Coast ..... Not a cloud in the sky, humming along the Highway to Nerang Kawasaki to meet with Dave an Charlie and their matching ZZR's. I think all the Staff from Gold Coast Kawasaki come out for an introduction and a chat. We all got a free TRINKET (Maybe a Bauble next time). I stuck my head up the rear of a '02 zx6r & spied a Spacer . Sean10 was right, seemed like nice folk at GCK.

Well What happened next defies Belief. Not sure if it was the GCK Staff not wanting us to leave or them Bloody Mexicans (we must be a threat to em all i reckon'). But in Came the CLOUDS Black 'n' Menacing. We decided to wait 5 more minutes (just to make sure we'd GET wet considering none of us had Wets) and off we headed for some nice winding roads Sean10 had prepared earlier. Two blocks down the street and hmmm... Precipitation .... in Queensland no doubt .... so to the Mexican whom sent the rain up, the Qlders say thanks an we're not giving it back.

Another 10ks Up the Road Sean10 made the decision of the day and pulled us off the Highway into the warm confines of a Hungry Jacks (is this a KSRC Tradition?) We ate and chatted and awaited the rain to ease. As soon as it did, twas Move em out and we made a bold dart for Hinz Dam, Some nice windies were dispatched with some top class close formation sportsridin' (We'll be back for these windy's & many others when they dry out). Arrived at the Damn and had some tucker, some giggles an fashioned the drowned scoots for the compulsory photo shoot.

All too soon we had to say goodbye & remount the arsenal of Kwika’s and head for the highway, where we all peeled off at various points to get that warm cuppa coffee and some dry clothes.

Thanks guys for attending a great day in ordinary weather. Thanks Sean10 for preparing the route and bringing your James Bond Camera. Stay safe and see you on the next one.

Cheers Brett
