A few of the Victorian members headed off to PI to give our bikes a bit of a run with a Track Day run by the Aust Superbike School.....

and after a phone call from the track, for a 'stir', Rob drove down in the cage during the day... just for a look! Some of us were track day virgins, others had done it all before, and were back for more!

A top day was had by all. The day is run very professionally, even the lunch in the riders/drivers restaurant is good value! We all got in our allocated number of 25 minute sessions (apart for one which was shortened due to an incident- see below). We ended up with Pit No#4 (thanks Dan) to put our gear and bikes in, and this was the one next to the Suspension tuners. All of the bikes got a free suspension look-see and adjustment, with plenty of improvement reported.

The result of our day???
fuel economy...out the window
a few of us learnt new cornering techniques
tyres and brakes ....got a hammering
and I am pretty sure all of us joined the '200+' club!

We had one 'oops' from the FAST group jockeys on a Honda CBR600. He went to hospital (every picture tells a story... )

Will we do it again?? You betcha
