Saturday 5th July
Circuit Breakers Eastern Creek Track Day

Saturday’s track day went really, well with good weather and good company.
We had me (Dave blue ZX9 race bike), Tony (red ZX6R), the other Dave (blue ZX9) and a few of the guys from the TrakDaze group there.
The first session was pretty slow as there was water across the track in turns 1, 4, 7 and 9 and a lot of dirt around from the previous nights rally. It was also that cold my tacho lense and visor kept fogging up.

Just when it started to dry out some one dumped 3 litres of oil in turn 7, that was cleaned up and a cautious line thru 7 was the on the cards for the next
couple of sessions.

There was quite a few race teams there practicing for next weekends Formula Extreme meeting so the pace in A was quite fast, the guys in B said it was the fastest B group they'd been in too.

Considering the oil in 7 and the quantity of people in each group (it was full) none of us had any problems and most of us did our quickest times. I did a 1:44 and quite a few 45's so I was pretty happy. Dave on the zx9 road bike on his first time in B group dropped his times from 2:05 down to a 1:56 and Tony on his zx6 was also doing similar times.

Circuit Breakers did a good job on the day and James Spence (the owner) came to our pit to introduce himself and see how things were going for us, gave us a few pointers too.
