19th December, 2004

Well, it’s the end of another year, and what a year it’s been. KSRC has gone from strength to strength. Firstly, Dan and I trialled the new forum, which has been a hit, and with Dave’s blessing has finally helped us to ditch the much loathed Yahoo forums. Rob did a huge run of KSRC stickers which have helped us to increase our active membership base, and Dave and Dan had some KSRC t-shirts printed (I’ll be adding a merchandise page soon) which were keenly accepted. There will be another run of the t-shirts & singlets early next year, so please check the forum if you wish to order some.

There were rides aplenty in most states and the odd gathering at race meets and track days. Hopefully this is a trend that will continue.

There are numerous people to thank for the success of KSRC this year, some have been mentioned above, and the others know who they are. I’m talking about those of you who actively participated in the forums, those of you that have handed out stickers, those of you who purchased t-shirts and those of you who provide support and friendship for the other members of KSRC. Without you guys and gals, KSRC would be another unfriendly, characterless forum.

Now that the silly season is upon us, I’ll take this chance to remind you all to not drink and ride. Please slow down a little bit and pay extra attention when riding. You may be sober, but that clown in the car that just t-boned you probably isn’t! I’ll have enough work to do in the next couple of weeks without having to clean motorcyclists off of the road.

From my family to you and yours, please have yourselves a very merry Christmas and a crashless new year and I look forwards to the fun and frivolity that is KSRC in the new year.
